葛妮絲派特洛26日在自己創立的生活購物網站Goop上，意外宣布與結縭超過10年的老公克里斯馬汀「自覺分手」，網站因巨大流量而大當機。她28日又在網站上的專欄發言，在介紹雞肉食譜、及如何再利用茶包後，簡單寫著：「克里斯和我對大家的支持深感感激。」網站立刻再度因流量而當機，成為兩人婚變的最大受益者。

克里斯72歲的父親安東尼日前接受英國《鏡報》專訪，透露婚變影響到２名孫子，讓他深感難過，但以兩人的成就感到驕傲，「他們仍保持很友善關係」。至於八卦媒體指稱婚變主因是葛妮絲常年外遇，安東尼說：「我從沒聽說過。」克里斯擔任主唱的「酷玩」樂團，暌違３年的新專輯《Ghost Stories》５月推出，宣傳期勢必也將成為媒體追逐焦點。
