孟加拉水患 數千人無家可歸

孟加拉近日來飽受洪患所苦，數千人被迫逃離家園，許多作物損失慘重。官員今天(26日)警告，由於洪水湧入首都達卡(Dhaka)，情況可能會進一步惡化。
孟加拉地勢較低且人口稠密，而季風帶來連日豪雨，已使得洪澇問題更加嚴重。而當地雨季將持續到9月。
孟國首都的洪水預報和警報中心(Flood Forecasting and Warning Center)工程師胡塞恩(Sazzad Hussain)表示，「接下來兩天，達卡的水患可能會更為惡化」，河流旁低漥地區的民眾可能會受到影響。
災害管理控制中心的官員表示，洪水已影響74萬人，其中數千人無家可歸，但並未提供官方統計數字。
洪水也影響了農作物，共計有20區逾4萬公頃的農地被大水淹沒，多半集中在孟國北部。
另外，還有逾300座學校被迫關閉。
孟加拉政府已釋出8千噸的米，並允諾提供災民總價3千萬塔卡(38萬5千美元)的救濟方案。
