想看到傳奇射手「雷射槍」艾倫(Ray Allen)與昔日效力波士頓塞爾提克時期的主帥瑞佛斯(Doc Rivers)再次合作？或許2014-15新賽季就能見到。根據ESPN披露，目前擔任洛杉磯快艇總教練的瑞佛斯，正積極拉攏艾倫加盟，希望這位沙場老將能前進洛城貢獻己力。

先前一度傳出將追隨「小皇帝」詹姆斯(LeBron James)前進克里夫蘭騎士，但隨後也遭到其經紀人與以否認。這也讓艾倫下季是否再戰NBA，成為外界關注焦點。

此次ESPN傳出快艇總教練瑞佛斯有意招募艾倫，對於球隊管理層來說，這並非快艇首度爭取艾倫加盟。早在兩年前，快艇就曾積極爭取艾倫，但最終他選擇加入邁阿密熱火，也再度享受總冠軍榮耀。

對於艾倫來說，如果他選擇投身快艇，他將與克勞佛(Jamal Crawford)、瑞迪克(J.J. Redick)共同打造球隊側翼火力。現年39歲的他也能替球隊帶來豐沛的總冠軍經驗。

現階段快艇僅能提供一紙「老將最低薪資」給艾倫，上季他在熱火時，平均仍可繳出9.6分，外帶38%的三分命中率。
