演藝圈大哥大澎恰恰，在螢光幕前，總是維持搞笑開朗形象，不過他曾經有過一段非常苦的日子，當年因為光碟事件，被黑道勒索4000萬元，還向高利貸借款高達3000萬，前前後後負債上億元，好險澎嫂沒有放棄他，反而跟著澎哥一起努力，短短五年就還清債務。

澎恰恰和許效舜為新片宣傳兩人在舞台上，一搭一唱，搞笑表演，縱橫演藝圈30多年累積戲劇經驗成就澎哥的導演夢。不過回想當年澎哥曾捲入光碟案被黑道勒索4000萬，還為了幫親友籌資向高利貸借款3000萬，雪球竟越滾越大累積了上億負債，沒想到太太不離不棄。跟著澎哥一起撐過，當時綜藝秀鐵獅玉玲瓏超級紅，每小時酬勞20萬元澎哥每個月進帳300萬，全部交給太太。

沒有金錢觀念的澎恰恰出門不敢帶錢包，每天由太太發零用金就這樣慢慢五年還清債務，也一步一腳印完成導演夢，曾有過低潮現在澎恰恰敢勇敢面對，當年的醜聞讓他改頭換面在演藝圈站穩腳步。
