【更新】王炳忠選議員拜票　夜市內遭潑熱湯

學運期間因高唱「中華民國頌」走音而爆紅的新北市板橋區議員候選人王炳忠，昨晚8時許在南雅夜市進行拜票活動，行經知名藥燉排骨店家向用餐民眾致意時，突遭一名男子潑灑熱湯，造成左手手肘局部紅腫，而該名男子疑似患有精神疾病，王炳忠得知後暫不提告，但仍先至板橋派出所備案處理。
 
據警方了解，該名王姓男子(82年次)當時與母親在藥燉排骨用餐，因王炳忠要向他的母親握手寒暄，他懷疑王炳忠要對母親做出不禮貌的動作，便潑灑剛端上的藥燉排骨熱湯攻擊王炳忠，事發後王姓男子的母親不斷向王炳忠致歉，表示她兒子精神狀況不穩定，時有情緒失控的脫序行為，盼王炳忠能諒解不提出告訴，而王炳忠得知後也決定暫不提告，並表示將登門拜訪王姓男子與其母親，了解是否能提供適當協助。（陳冠宇／新北報導）
