田中將大確定重回大聯盟，下一次的先發，預定將是台北時間22日對藍鳥。

前一天的模擬賽，田中投了5局65球，表現相當不錯，自己很滿意，而且今天手臂也沒有任何不適的感覺。

洋基總教練練Joe Giraldi今天也確定了田中重回大聯盟的日期：「我覺得這是大家一直等待的結果，他為了復出也付出很大的努力，完成很多事情，」

22日的先發，將是田中自7月9日以來，首度在大聯盟的投球，洋基給他設定的球數，在70到75球之間，「我們會再看看他的情況如何。」Joe Giraldi說。

今天對光芒賽前，田中是在球場簡單的傳接球約10分鐘，「現在就是朝預定先發的日期，確實地調整好，」馬君說。

「按步就班的復健，走到今天，」田中將大說，「昨天投了模擬賽，今天也沒什麼問題，我感覺自己已經準備好了。」

在重回大聯盟之前，田中還會再進一次牛棚，如果22日順利回來，他本季應該還有兩次先發機會。

洋基一開始就是要讓田中在球季賽結束前回來，這跟目前他們是否有機會進季後賽，沒有任何的關係。

「最重要的，是我想要知道，我現在的身體狀況，能否應付大聯盟的投球，」田中將大說，「當然如果可以對做出貢獻，幫助球隊贏球，這對我來說也是很重要的。」
