伊朗核研能力太強 美難接受

（法新社華盛頓16日電） 在世界強權新一輪伊朗核子談判前，美國首席代表今天表示，伊朗目前濃縮鈾的能力太高，全世界都無法接受。

美國國務院政治事務次卿薛曼（Wendy Sherman）在喬治城大學（Georgetown University）的一項頒獎典禮演說指出，經過數個月激烈談判，雙方已「找出某些重要問題的可能答案」。

不過她警告說，「我們距離其他核心議題仍相當遙遠，包括伊朗濃縮鈾能力的規模和數量」。

正值伊朗與世界強權準備18日在紐約展開新一輪談判之際，薛曼預期伊朗「將就此關鍵事項試圖說服世界，即現狀...應可令人接受」。

薛曼強調，「情形並非如此」，「如果是的話，我們就不會在做如此困難和艱苦的談判工作」。

聯合國安全理事會5個常任理事國和德國（P5+1）希望伊朗減少核子研發活動，以免伊朗取得突破而得以製造出核子彈。

伊朗否認要製造核武並表示有權進行和平用途的核子計劃，希望聯合國和西方國家解除對其嚴苛制裁。

薛曼表示，「只要伊朗採取有說服力及可核查的步驟，證明核子計畫現在且未來都將完全用在和平目的上，世界將同意停止並解除制裁。」
