華郵：中國應讓梁振英下台　平息港人之怒

美國《華盛頓郵報》發表評論，認為中共中央應讓香港特首梁振英下台，以平息民怨。

《華盛頓郵報》就香港佔領行動發表題為「香港示威抗議不可能一掃而空」（Hong Kong protests can’t be swept away）的評論文章，指若中央政府不讓步，香港的政局不能穩定，亦不能給予投資者信心及避免將來發生動盪。

評論還認為，中國和香港政府採取強硬手段鎮壓示威，只會在中國內地引起反彈，也玷污習近平許下「中國夢」的承諾。

若要避免這個結果，中央應作出讓步，如拔掉梁振英特首公職，以滿足大部分示威人士的訴求。另外，即使2017年普選特首的程序不變，亦可作出其他讓步，如考慮改善下屆立法會選舉的程序，讓這項選舉變得更民主。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
