WTA年終總決賽今晚在新加坡盛大開幕，由甫宣布退休的中國大陸網壇女將李娜擔任官方大使，為賽事開球，球迷鼓掌歡呼聲不斷，全場在聲光效果帶動下，氣氛嗨到最高點。

李娜一出場，就受到全場觀眾和球迷鼓掌叫好，她親自揮拍為年終賽事開球。

今天開賽後，隨即登場的是由美網3連霸稱后的小威廉絲（Serena Williams）對戰塞爾維亞的伊娃諾維琪（Ana Ivanovic），小威廉絲以6比4、6比4拿下勝利。

在羅馬尼亞網球名將哈勒普（Simona Halep）迎戰加拿大布夏爾（Eugenie Bouchard）部分，哈勒普以6比2、6比3獲勝。

今天傍晚開賽前，另先由娜拉提洛娃（MartinaNavratilova）、奧斯汀（Tracy Austin）、巴托莉（Marion Bartoli）和馬約莉（Iva Majoli）進行元老賽。

世界女子職業網球協會（WTA）年終總決賽單打賽事於20日到26日在新加坡舉行，由全球8位頂尖好手競逐，比賽採小組循環賽，只有4位球員在小組賽中至少1勝2負，才能進入4強賽。今年也是WTA年終總決賽首度到新加坡舉辦。(中央社)
