（中央社聯合國20日綜合外電報導員）聯合國發言人杜雅里克今天說，獅子山境內1名聯合國工作人員已因感染伊波拉病毒身亡，成為這個國際機構第3名死於這種病毒的人員。

杜雅里克（Stephane Dujarric）說，這名男子是聯合國婦女組織（UN Women）的駕駛，週末期間在獅子山病逝，他的妻子現正接受治療。

杜雅里克說：「我們已盡可能採取在目前情況下最妥善的一切措施，來保護我們在獅子山執勤站的人員。」

1名在賴比瑞亞擔任聯合國衛生工作人員的蘇丹人因感染伊波拉病毒，上週在德國過世；還有1名賴比瑞亞人員也可能因感染相同病毒，而在上月喪生。(中央社)
