如果開幕當天，看到Rajon Rondo提前歸隊，別太訝異。塞爾提克總教練Brad Stevens宣稱，這是有可能的。

Rondo上個月底摔傷左手，開刀治療，當時傳出至少休息6個禮拜，不過上禮拜檢查，復原狀況良好，有望提前復出。

但Rondo不願操之過急：「我還沒開始肢體對抗練習，開幕戰就在一個多禮拜後，我不想訂下明確的復出日期，只想完成復健。」

目前Rondo運球、接球沒問題，「但我得看看能不能在倒地時，用手支撐身體，或是衝進禁區時，對方拍擊我的手，我是否受得了。」

為了測試這些情況，Rondo請體能教練Bryan Doo模擬碰撞，「不過Doo教練不是NBA球員，沒有那麼壯。」Rondo開玩笑說。
