上半場進攻已經七零八落的湖人，第3節更是毫無章法，除了「紫金一哥」Kobe Bryant，Nick Young也加入濫投行列，兩人小計27投僅中8，命中率3成都不到。

不僅進攻乏善可陳，防守也是顧此失彼，讓少數積極球員例如林書豪疲於奔命，鵜鶘三分球命中率高達47.1%，湖人防守是最大問題。
