新任台北市長柯文哲上任前，今跟妻子、母親至大甲鎮瀾宮祈求平安，一路低調只跟民眾握手、拍照，讓許多遊客看到驚艷，行前也未告知廟方，面對突然出現的柯P，副董事長鄭銘坤也著實嚇了一跳，直說:「怎麼來都沒先說。」
