沙國MERS再奪5命　美確診第二例

沙烏地阿拉伯爆發的中東呼吸綜合症冠狀病毒（MERS）病毒再奪5命，2012年發現首宗病例來死亡人數增至147人，及確診人數升至491人。當局已發出新警告，呼籲民眾接觸駱駝時，應戴上口罩及手套，以避免感染MERS。

另外，美國則發現第二宗MERS感染個案，患者來自佛羅里達州。美國疾病控制及預防中心表示，患者是在沙烏地阿拉伯地居住和工作的醫護人員，5月1日由吉達往英國倫敦，再到美國波士頓、亞特蘭大和奧蘭多，10日進入佛州一間醫院治療。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
