新北市府去年8月與日本福岡進行世界首例「跨國免費Wi-Fi帳號漫遊」合作，讓民眾除了能在福岡與沖繩使用免費Wi-Fi外，本月又新增廣島市，讓民眾暑假出遊也能享受新北市無線網路帳號的服務。
 
研考會提到，新北市無線網路國際漫遊使用方式簡易，民眾只要先在國內註冊「NewTaipei」帳號並記住設定好的密碼，前往日本廣島旅遊時，即可免費使用當地15個「Hiroshima_Free_Wi-Fi」無線熱點。
 
研考會說，熱點區域包含文化交流協會、現代美術館、和平紀念資料館、國際會議場、漫畫圖書館等，都是廣島市內著名觀光地點，旅客利用此服務，除了不用申請當地無線網路帳號外，更可省下一筆網路跨國漫遊費用，呼籲民眾多加利用。（陳威叡／新北報導）
