世界廚藝競賽　新加坡隊奪冠

2014台灣國際美食展重頭戲「世界廚藝競賽」今爭奪冠亞軍，結果由新加坡中廚協會獲菜餚精緻美味，擺盤精美，有創意獲得冠軍，而原被看好的南台灣隊金饗同德以些微的差距落居亞軍。
 
新加坡中廚協會隊長張偉忠說，此次比賽的食材是今天比賽前才公布，包括前菜、熱湯及主菜等6道菜，規定每一道都要有鴨肉，讓他及隊友們絞盡腦汁想菜單，其中熱湯古早味雞Y豬肚鱉，在新加坡雖常料理，但要做出創意，確實不易，他們用了一些巧想，將該道湯品煮出肉古茶的味道。
 
主辦單位展昭國際說，新加坡中廚協會曾於2005年及2007年獲世界廚藝競賽冠軍，今年表現可圈可點，再度奪冠軍，將可獲得30萬元獎金，並把獎杯、獎牌帶回新加坡。(戴安瑋／台北報導)
