根據統計，叫特定名字的貓狗容易走失。

英國流浪動物組織「怒海」在英國有三個收容中心，一年收容大約九千隻貓狗。

「怒海」統計了他們收留的走失貓狗的名字。結果發現叫麥克司、查理、巴斯特、貝利和阿飛的狗在中心最多。而走失貓名的前五名分別是，蔻蔻、堤格、公主、黛西和法蘭奇。

依照這個流浪動物組織的統計，依品種分，最容易走失的狗是「斯塔福郡鬥牛犬」。依年齡比較，一歲一個月大的貓最易走失，九個月大的狗也最容易找不到回家的路。
