注意！趨勢科技今(17)天發出短訊提醒，近期發現，瀏覽器擴充套件已成為網路犯罪計畫的另一工具。

趨勢科技說，近期推特(Twitter)出現一則以「Facebook Secrets」為標題的短網址貼文，點擊連結後會將使用者引導至一個網站並自動下載 EXE 檔到使用者的電腦上，進而下載和植入一連串檔案到系統內，檔案使用常見應用程式檔名,例如flash.exe，避免被懷疑；除下載植入檔案外，還會安裝偽裝為Flash Player瀏覽器擴充套件到Google Chrome上。

當使用者打開臉書或推特，擴充套件即會導引至一個土耳其文網站，並顯示像「更好的話」、「沈重的歌詞」、「有意義的歌詞」、「愛的訊息」和「愛的歌詞」等詞句引誘使用者點擊，以進行點擊詐騙。

目前此推文已被轉發超過 6000次，雖然Google已透過一項強制性政策來解決惡意瀏覽器擴充套件的問題，但並沒有完全嚇阻網路犯罪份子，趨勢科技建議使用者從官方和有信譽的來源安裝瀏覽器擴充套件，避免遭受惡意攻擊。
