替補上場菜鳥投進致勝一球

面對戰績幾乎相反的明尼蘇達灰狼，休士頓火箭意外陷入苦戰，最終靠著「大鬍子」James Harden本季新高38分、菜鳥Nick Johnson「絕殺」，114：112延長賽險勝過關。

「我提前犯滿畢業，但他們依然卯足全力，贏得比賽。」Harden說：「我們慢慢成長，逐漸成為一個團隊。」

Harden全場17投11中，包括3記三分球，14罰13中，攻下38分、4籃板、6助攻，但發生8次失誤，也因6次犯規無法和球隊奮戰到最後。

少了Harden，沒關係，菜鳥Johnson最後0.8秒完成致勝上籃，他以替補身分上場22分鐘，只投進一球，就是終結比賽的一球。

另外，決勝節關鍵階段錯失兩次致勝跳投機會的灰狼菜鳥Zach LaVine，賽後難掩自責，「我們該贏的，我們有些球處理不好，但已經比上一場進步了。」

火箭驚險贏球後，戰績15勝4敗，位居西區老二，灰狼則是吞下本季第14敗，目前只拿4勝，勝率22.2%在西區墊底。
