2015年台灣桌球名人賽，陳建安2日苦戰6局不敵中國大陸轉籍新加坡的高寧，不過還是替地主保住一張八強門票。

「我不知道耶，我以為輸了就沒了。」陳建安賽後說：「能晉級很開心，之後還是會盡力應戰。」

八強籤表得等預賽結束後才出爐，半準決賽想和哪位高手對決？陳建安表示：「水谷（隼）吧，他最近的球很棒，想跟他打看看。」

對於在高雄連辦兩屆的名人賽，陳建安相當讚賞，「多辦比賽，對我們選手都是好事。」他說。
