返台活動滿檔的陽岱鋼2日搭機前往美國，預計與效力樂天的前輩松井稼頭央一同前往自主訓練。

這次赴美進行整體訓練，陽岱鋼認為是對自己的投資：「希望現在能做的都盡量做，去體驗。」

首度赴美，陽岱鋼沒有去設想日、美訓練方式有何不同，他說：「都是一樣拿球棒、拿手套，只看自己吸收多少。」

而與前輩松井稼頭央一同前往，陽岱鋼表示，兩人都是游擊手轉任外野手，屆時一定能從「大賢拜」學習到更多東西，藉此充實自己。

兩人預計停留3週，17日就滿28歲的陽岱鋼也將在美國度過生日，對於新球季有什麼願望，他希望保持健康出賽。
