勇士後衛Klay Thompson用「瓷器店裡的牛」，形容快艇灌籃王Blake Griffin的狂野球風。這評價傳到Griffin耳裡，回應有如「謝謝指教」般四兩撥千斤。

「喔，我聽到了，」Griffin回應：「那與我無關，我只是打球而已，不想牽扯其中。我想，我們準備好了，看起來他們也是。」

勇士、快艇要在季後賽第一輪碰頭，本季聖誕大餐，兩隊曾有火爆演出，主角就是Griffin、以及勇士中鋒Andrew Bogut。如今狹路相逢，比賽開打前，勇士先噴口水，但Griffin沒上鉤。

其實，Griffin為了好好備戰，連社群網站都不上了，不看網友的正反意見，甚至不上網看比賽影片。

「這大有幫助，」Griffin說，「我拋開那些消極想法，打起球來更自由自在，活得更逍遙。別接觸那麼多有的沒的，那不是我要的。」
