奈及利亞總統：已無伊波拉

（法新社紐約聯合國總部24日電） 奈及利亞總統強納森（Goodluck Jonathan）今天搶在醫師宣布之前，在聯合國大會表示，奈國已經沒有伊波拉病毒。

強納森在全球外交官聚集的紐約聯合國大會上表示：「我們可以很有自信地說，奈及利亞現在已沒有伊波拉病毒了。」此話一出，在座聽眾爆出掌聲。

「奈及利亞已經沒有伊波拉病毒了」強納森的二度強調再次獲得掌聲。

強納森說，奈國已挹注350萬美元協助賴比瑞亞、獅子山與幾內亞對抗疫情。

奈及利亞聯邦衛生部表示，所有感染者體內都已沒有病毒，不過醫師稍早前表示，他們還要等待一段時間才會宣布疫情在奈及利亞結束。

世界衛生組織（WHO）表示，奈國自7月以來有20人感染伊波拉病毒，其中8人身亡。（譯者：中央社陳怡君）
