嘉南水利會研究節水灌溉有成

因應乾旱頻率變高，嘉南農田水利會灌溉技術推廣中心研究節水灌溉有成，試驗股長邱儀婷今天說，該中心試驗結果，一期稻作如從原本1月16日延後1個月插秧，可節省20%水量，產量增加8%。

冬季天氣悶熱雨水少，南部進入枯水期，水資源匱乏，如何節水灌溉，成為嘉南農田水利會灌推中心研究的重要課題之一。

邱儀婷指出，灌推中心曾試驗節水灌溉一期稻作方法，包括從原本1 月16日天氣較冷時插秧，延後約1個月至2月16日，可省約20%水量；主因是1月16日天氣低冷，要在田中多加水為秧苗保溫，如延後至2月16 日，可減少為秧苗保溫水量，估計產量增加8%。
