〔自由時報記者丁偉杰／嘉市報導〕「火雞肉飯」是嘉義市著名的庶民小吃，也是台灣引以為傲的美食。嘉義市政府昨邀請噴水火雞肉飯團隊，在文化公園諸羅印象廣場，製作超大型、可供千人品嘗的火雞肉飯，食材計花費20萬元，經吊起秤重達922公斤，由金氏世界紀錄英國鑑證官及民眾見證。民眾爭相拍照，並排隊分享香味撲鼻的雞肉飯。
