印第安納溜馬14日主場慘敗華盛頓巫師29分，寫下隊史季後賽主場第二慘敗的難堪紀錄，奪冠之路也蒙上陰影。

上一支在季後賽主場曾慘敗20分以上、還能奪下該年總冠軍的球隊，是2000年的洛杉磯湖人，當年紫金大軍在西區冠軍賽第2戰77：106輸給波特蘭拓荒者。

另外，今年聖安東尼奧馬刺在季後賽首輪第2戰也在家裡慘敗給達拉斯小牛21分。

今天的第5戰，溜馬幾乎全隊都不在狀況內，團隊命中率僅39%，號稱「第一中鋒」的Roy Hibbert故態復萌，7投2中，只得4分、2籃板，聯盟力捧的新星Paul George命中率只有33.3%。

溜馬大前鋒David West攻下17分、6籃板，這位精神領袖賽後當然很難接受球隊表現。
