大同大學設「工廠」　提供3D列印設備

畢展燒錢是設計相關科系學生心中的痛，大同大學斥資600萬元在校內打造「創意設計中心」，引進包含電子、機械、車縫、金工、陶瓷和3D列印等設備，成為全台大專院校最大的「自造空間」（MAKERSPACE），設計學院學生在校即可使用高階設備，完成自己設計的作品，校方更引進專業團隊，開設行銷和創業課程，提供專業諮詢以及募資平台，學生不僅可省錢，創業不怕沒機會。

大同大學設計學院的工廠佔地300坪，設計學院院長吳志富表示，在設計創意中心，要做什麼都可以，還有專業管理團提供腦力激盪、專業諮詢，校方降更希望經由創意設計中心的成立，打造出校園中的文創園區。該中心5月24日開幕，預計6月開放校外人士使用，讓有設計夢的人都有圓夢機會。（陳威廷／台北報導）
