繼金馬影帝、亞太影帝之後，李康生又在「2014台北電影獎」，憑電影《郊遊》勇奪影帝，有趣的是，上台前他的女友也在台下愛相隨，還被主持人曾寶儀叫起來，讓所有觀眾看個清楚，甜蜜洋溢。

可能是女朋友帶來的好運，李康生又拿下一座影帝，只可惜最知心的蔡明亮導演，正在香港宣傳新書不克前來，否則一定也很為他高興。

李康生拿獎之後，雖然說比前二次不緊張，但他在台上還是興奮得講不出話來，最後他說：「我現在需要量血壓，因為三個月前我才中風過，而且五天後就要演出舞台劇“玄奘”，蔡明亮導演說我是用生命在演《郊遊》，其實我每一部戲都用命在演。」

但沒想到在得獎致詞時，李康生居然還不忘用冷笑話插花，「我本來以為我不會得獎，因為評審團主席是陳國富，所以應該會是《孫中山》（指《行動代號：孫中山》）！」過了一會兒所有人才反應過來，原來李康生指的「國父」，其實是「國富」啦，叫所有人哄堂大笑。
